Anusara Yoga in Fiji

July 10 - 17, 2010

The July 2009 retreat in Fiji was an enormous success – so I have booked another one for 2010!!

I will be teaching this week-long yoga course at the Daku Resort in Savusavu, Fiji. Savusavu is a small Fijian town on the island of Vanua Levu, an hour by small plane from Nadi. The resort is spread out over a former coconut plantation across the road from the beach, an easy 15 minute walk from town.

Each morning after guided meditation one of the five Universal Principles of Alignment will be explored in detail, with the afternoon free to explore the beautiful surroundings or to participate in one of the many excursions offered by the resort. Or to simply relax in the pool, read or chat. During the early evening sessions I will be teaching students how to develop a practice at home. In these classes I will cover sequencing, timing and practices which address general health issues. The sixth day will be free for impromptu practices and other interests. Accommodation is in traditional bure-style cottages set in tropical gardens with a view of the bay.

The cost is $1980 and includes local flights, accommodation, meals, some excursions, a free massage and course fees. International flights are extra.

Why not leave winter behind and join us for a week of yoga wrapped up in a holiday in Fiji?
